Crafting Resilience: Women’s Cultural Revival in Post-Earthquake
Reconstruction

İstasyonTEDU supported the project team by designing the necessary methods and tools for the project team to effectively carry out social impact oriented project management processes. İstasyonTEDU aims to enhance the association's capacity in this field by collaborating with its members throughout the process.

The project initially focused on the interior and exterior design of the Mara Handicrafts Workshop, established in Hatay, Samandağ one of the eleven provinces heavily affected by the February 6 earthquakes. Facilitated by Roof Coliving, a series of co-design workshops were held with local women, producers, and artisans displaced by the earthquakes, many of whom were living in container settlements after losing their homes.
