Incubators 4 Change

The “Incubators 4 Change” (I4C) project, was entitled to be funded by the Erasmus+ “Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices” Programme (KA2). The project is led by ESSEC Business School in France in partnership with TED University and Social Impact Awards, Austria.

 

The aim of the project is to contribute developing more effective social entrepreneurship support mechanisms, defining efficient incubation processes, creating and disseminating knowledge about the concepts and practices of social entrepreneurship from a wider perspective. The project is completed at the end of 2022.

This overview is based on qualitative & quantitative interviews with responses from more than 150 incubators in Europe and the Middle-East, and provide a rich Picture of the social incubators ecosystem in those regions. 

  • Curriculum of social entrepreneurship classes

This practical curriculum is made for anyone interested in giving classes on this topic, based on best practices and field research. The curriculum is composed of 6 different topics, to teach students the basics of creating a social enterprise.

  • Best practice to support social entrepreneurs in 6 videos. 

6 videos with interviews of experts on how to support the best specific profiles of social entrepreneurs.​

  • Good practice guide on the selection process for incubators of early stage social enterprises. 

This step by step guide is based on interviews of experienced incubators, and can help you select entrepreneurs to support in the scope of incubation and acceleration programs.​

  • Good practices guide: how to support social entrepreneurs beyond funding. 

This document is based on interviews of social entrepreneurs and an international literatüre review on support practice to social entrepreneurs.
