Developed and implemented in collaboration between İstasyonTEDU Center for Social Innovation and the TEDU International Programs Office, the SocialEASE Erasmus+ Internship Program offers TEDU undergraduate and graduate students, as well as final-year undergraduate students, the opportunity to undertake internships in the fields of social entrepreneurship and the creative industries in Erasmus+ program countries, regardless of their department.
The 2023–2025 and 2024–2025 grant periods of the program have been completed. Within the scope of SocialEASE, during the summer of 2024, three TEDU students completed internships at Impact Hub Vienna
(Austria), Impact Hub Antwerp (Belgium), and Casa da Horta – Associação Cultura (Portugal). In the summer of 2025, four TEDU students completed internships at Impact Hub Vienna (Austria), Stone Soup (Greece), Impact Hub Belgrade (Serbia), and Murkhasya (Spain).
SocialEASE, an EU-funded internship consortium project, was implemented under the coordination of TED University in collaboration with Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, Yaşar University and Originn. The accreditation of the consortium will continue for at least 5 years. TEDU students who missed this application period of the program may have the chance to do an internship within the scope of SocialEASE in the future.
SocialEASE mobilizes interns, benefiting both the host organizations and TEDU by enabling them to engage in international collaboration, compare approaches between Türkiye and the host countries, and exchange knowledge on best practices for addressing social challenges through social entrepreneurship.
