YES Impact Project Partners’ Meeting and Focus Group Meetings Were Held

The international partners’ meeting of the Youth Empowerment for Social Impact – YES Impact Project was held between October 6–9, 2025, in Albacete, Spain, hosted by project partner Social Innovation LAISVĖ Cluster. During the meeting, partners shared the initial outputs of their work carried out within the scope of the project’s research component. As a result of the research, initially the country reports are being prepared by each consortium partner, specifically focusing on the status of youth social entrepreneurship and support mechanisms. In addition, a consortium-level comparative report will be compiled, including the status of youth social entrepreneurship, support mechanisms, identified gaps and areas for intervention across consortium countries. The reports are planned to be completed and shared as open-access resources in the first quarter of 2026.

In order to ensure that the reports are based on the field data and respond to real needs, surveys were conducted with young social entrepreneurs and professionals working in the field. Additionally, within the scope of the project, online focus group meetings were held on November 18 with young entrepreneurs and on November 21 with representatives of support organizations working with young entrepreneurs in Türkiye. Focus group meetings focused on discussions around the youth entrepreneurship ecosystem in Türkiye, particularly young entrepreneurs’ access to resources, the challenges and facilitating factors they encounter in their entrepreneurial journeys, and existing support mechanisms.
YES Impact Project is funded by the Turkish National Agency and implemented under the coordination of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in partnership with İstasyonTEDU, InterMediaKT (Greece), and Social Innovation LAISVĖ Cluster (Spain). The project aims to equip youth workers with the necessary skills and tools to guide and support young social entrepreneurs.
