Social and solidarity economy emerges as a whole new debate, research and a practice field in the world. While social cooperatives increasingly gain prominence as an important actors in the field.

An interview about Cooperatives took place on Thursday, October 25 at IstasyonTEDÜ with Özgür Kurtuluş who is from Müşterekler which is a blog that aims to piece together the topics such as social economy, democratic economy, social entrepreneurship, platform economy, social innovation, civil society and Sinem Sefa Bayraktar who is from Development Workshop Cooperative which has been conducting extraordinary studies since 2004.

* After the interview, a documentary which examines the issue of economic democracy with the examples from cooperatives, called ‘Can We Do It Ourselves?’ (60 min.) has displayed.
